In the 1980s and 90s I produced video art, but in the 2000s became interested in working with media I didn’t have to plug in. I began drawing from nature, got a microscope, and learned scientific illustration. My work has always retained art-science themes but my interests have shifted from representational work toward more conceptual approaches.
